Should I waterproof my Tenkey before wearing them?

The natural oils and waxes found in many of our leathers do a great job of fending off the snow and rain. Our WeatherSafe™ Suede collection was even developed specifically with bad weather in mind. That said, if you’d like to treat your boots or shoes further, we recommend using the Cobbler’s Choice Waterproofing Spray, which works on leather and is especially ideal for suede.

Note: Any shoe care products you apply to leather can change its appearance, most commonly causing it to darken slightly. As a best practice, we recommend testing new shoe care products on a small, inconspicuous section of your boots or shoes before applying more broadly. The inside of the heel is a pretty safe place to start.
